Safflower Ginger

7,95

Our most popular limited edition yet, safflower meets ginger.

For thousands of years, safflower was mostly used for its beautifully vivid colour, yet the flower is also packed with health benefits and a rich aroma. Therefore we decided to pair it up with our FRANK Black, and throw in some fresh ginger for good measure!

Safflower has a very rich flavour suggestive of sweet, chocolaty, tobacco.

Step-by-Step Guide

Where is it produced?

Let’s be frank: The black tea we use in this melange is our own FRANK Black from Kenya. The remaining spices, safflower and ginger, are not sourced via direct trade yet. We get the spices from a buyer in Germany, who sources them from different countries. The safflower comes from Iran, and the ginger comes from India. The ginger is organically certified. We know the producers behind the black tea, however we do not yet know the local producers that grow the ginger and safflower.
